Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026 Modality One ("Modality One," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, request program updates, submit an inquiry, request wholesale information, interact with M1 Verified, or otherwise communicate with us. 1. Scope This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the Modality One website and related online interactions. It does not apply to information collected by third parties under their own privacy policies. 2. Information We Collect Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company or institution, country, and similar identifiers. • Program-interest information, such as the program selected, email address, contact-consent and optional marketing choices, consent version, and consent timestamps. • Inquiry and commercial information, such as products of interest, estimated volume, requested materials, and the contents of messages you send us. • Limited first-party source attribution, such as source, medium, campaign, content, search-term tokens, referring host, landing path, session identifiers, and allowlisted campaign or affiliate click identifiers when present. • Website and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, referral information, and security or diagnostic logs generated by our website infrastructure or service providers. • Account and authentication information for authorized Modality One team members, such as login identifiers and authentication events. Please do not submit medical records, patient information, protected health information, payment card information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information through our public program-updates, contact, or wholesale forms. 3. How We Collect Information We collect information: • directly from you when you submit a form or communicate with us; • automatically through the website and its technical infrastructure; and • from service providers that support website operation, security, authentication, communications, and related business functions. 4. How We Use Personal Information We may use personal information to: • respond to inquiries and requests; • email you about the availability of a program you requested updates about, and send company news or educational content only if you separately opt in; • evaluate wholesale or commercial inquiries; • provide information about research materials, documentation, and M1 Verified records; • operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website; • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity; • maintain business records and internal audit trails; • comply with applicable law, lawful requests, and legal obligations; and • establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. We do not use information submitted through our public forms to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or patient-specific recommendations. 5. How We Disclose Personal Information We may disclose personal information to service providers that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting and application infrastructure, security, authentication, communications, file storage, and related technical operations. These providers are permitted to process information only for the services they provide to us or as otherwise allowed by law. We may also disclose information: • when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; • when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or security; • in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements; or • with your direction or consent. As of the effective date of this Policy, Modality One does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not intentionally share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law. 6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies The website and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for security, authentication, preferences, form-abuse prevention, first-party source attribution and session measurement, and core website functionality. We do not currently operate the public website as an advertising network or use our own targeted-advertising cookies. 7. Retention We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business and security records, satisfying legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected. 8. Security We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights Depending on where you live and the law that applies to us, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information, and the right to object to or limit certain processing. Where applicable, you may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. Modality One does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration or intentionally share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can withdraw your program-update signup or optional email choice through our Contact page. To submit a privacy request, use the contact method provided on our Contact page and clearly identify the request as a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. If a law requires a notice at collection, this Privacy Policy, together with the notice provided at or before a form submission, describes the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use them. 10. Children Program-interest signups are intended for adults aged 18 or older. The website also includes business and laboratory-research documentation and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can evaluate and address the issue. 11. Program Previews and Research Documentation Care programs on this website are previews; clinical services are not yet available. An updates signup records interest and consent, not a medical assessment or patient-provider relationship. The signup does not collect health questionnaire answers. Do not submit patient-specific medical information through public forms. Modality One research materials are presented for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use. Their documentation and verification records are separate from upcoming consumer care programs. 12. International Visitors If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate measures for cross-border processing. 13. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. 14. Contact For privacy questions or requests, use the contact information provided on the Modality One Contact page.
